At WeWeVibe, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. Our app is designed with a “Privacy-First” architecture. Unlike traditional platforms, we do not build profiles on our users, we do not track your movements, and we do not store your personal data on our servers.
1. Our “Zero-Retention” Commitment
WeWeVibe is a Zero-Retention application. This means:
- No Data Storage: We do not store, save, or retain any personal information, messages, or media once your session is closed.
- No Tracking: We do not use cookies, pixels, or any tracking technologies to follow your activity across the web or within the app.
- No Profiles: We do not create user profiles based on your behavior or preferences.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
To ensure 100% privacy, we have intentionally designed our systems to avoid collecting:
- Personal Identifiers: Names, physical addresses, or phone numbers.
- Biometric Data: We do not collect or store facial recognition or fingerprint data.
- Location Data: We do not track or retain your precise GPS coordinates.
- Usage History: We do not keep logs of what you view, click, or search for within the app.
3. Temporary Technical Data
To facilitate a secure connection, our servers may temporarily process your IP address or device identifier strictly for the duration of your active session. This information is purged immediately upon the termination of your session and is never linked to a permanent identity.
4. Compliance with State and Federal Laws
While we do not retain data, we acknowledge the legal frameworks of all 50 U.S. states, including:
- California (CCPA/CPRA): Since we do not “sell” or “share” personal information (as we do not collect it), we are inherently compliant with your right to opt-out.
- Children’s Privacy (COPPA): Our app does not knowingly collect or retain any information from children under the age of 13.
- New 2026 State Laws (IN, KY, RI): We meet the strictest data minimization standards by ensuring that no “sensitive data” is ever stored or processed beyond the immediate session necessity.
5. Security Architecture
Because we do not retain data, there is no database for unauthorized parties to breach. All communications within the app are protected by End-to-End Encryption (E2EE), ensuring that only the intended participants can see the content of their interactions. Even WeWeVibe cannot access your data.
6. Your Rights
Under various state laws, you have the right to know what data is collected. Our answer to all “Requests to Know” or “Requests to Delete” is simple: We have nothing to show and nothing to delete because nothing was ever saved.
